I picked up this Lamy 1.1mm stub nib a few months back, and it wrote smooth and wet, but it was kind of rounded. It wrote like a broad and didn't have the line variation I was expecting.
Exhausted but determined to do something that wasn't work, I busted out my diamond stone and micro mesh.

I've wanted a 24 for quite a while but had been waiting for one at the right price. This one came as a set with a Montblanc 24 fountain pen, 26 mechanical pencil and 28 ballpoint, all in their original case.
I've already restored the pencil, and it looks good and new now! So happy with it!

Spending the evening watching YouTube while polishing my new (to me) Montblanc 24 fountain pen. I picked this up on eBay a couple of weeks ago, and it arrived yesterday. It's in great shape overall, but someone left ink in it many years ago, which had dried and glued everything together.

I'm a huge fan of the Asvine V126. You get a lot of pen for your money. Great to hear you're enjoying yours too 👍

There's definitely something going on! The Edelstein inks are some of my favourites. I'll have to see if I can find some Wordsworth & Black inks to try here in Australia.

Google decided to remind me that 6 years ago today, I was finishing off this sweet FPV quadcopter build. Whilst most people were building 5 inch racers and freestyle builds, I was obsessed with efficient 7, 8 and 10 inch quads, high cruise speeds and long flight times on homemade 6s LiIon packs

That's an awesome combo! I matchy matchy occasionally. Usually, though, I just put the ink I need in the fountain pen I have available 😂

One for the fountain pen feed 🖊️. Does anyone out there find the Lamy 2000 difficult to grip?
I've had mine for almost a year and just haven't bonded with it. I find myself having to constantly adjust my grip to stop it creeping towards the nib. This makes me grip it tighter which becomes fatiguing.

One of my goals for this year is to improve my cursive handwriting. I hadn't used it for years and was a bit upset by how messy it had gotten when I wrote Christmas cards to my clients last year. I have a long way to go, but I'm getting there 😊

I'm seeing similar with my clients here in Australia. It seems like featured snippets are slowly being phased out in favour of AI overviews. Looking at Semrush Sensor, there's a clear downtrend in their occurrence.
