Oh yeah that looks super fun

Yeah seems pretty deliberate to start us with something that feels like a kids movie but then slowly show how things aren’t as sweet and wonderful as they might seem.

It struck a lot of the same notes as the first Guardians did for me, though obviously not in the exact same way. I probably won’t watch it repeatedly, but I’m super glad I saw it when I did.

I’m going to an early show tomorrow. Trying not to get my hopes up too high but all the praise I’ve seen so far has me looking forward to it.

My main pet peeve is calling something a season when it ends on a cliffhanger with nothing resolved. I’d prefer they call it part 1. But beyond the personal shock I felt about episode 1, I’ve enjoyed it so far.

I loved that movie so much as a kid.

You also have the right to say “I can’t help you right now” if you are overwhelmed by it all.

It is absolutely natural for you to feel that frustration and you’re not a bad person for feeling that way. We can try to help and want the best for people but it is ultimately up to them to make the necessary changes in their lives.

Maybe not a ton but also not unheard of. My mom’s father was half German.
