Poor guy was the scapegoat for a Bruins team that's performed about as well as New Coke this season. Wish him best of luck in the future; he's a good guy, a good quote and a good coach.

After another abysmal showing tonight -- this one against the bottom scraping Blue Jackets -- it'd really be surprising to see head coach Jim Montgomery behind the Bruins' bench Thursday at home against Utah. Really nice guy who clearly knows the game, but team is obviously not responding to him.

It’s been a rock fight here in Woburn, with Swampscott and Stoneham scoreless at halftime.
Big Blue punted 5 times and have gained just 41 yards of offense. Stoneham (104 yards) hasn’t been much better, punting 4 times and turning the ball over twice on downs.

It’s been a rock fight here in Woburn, with Swampscott and Stoneham scoreless at halftime.
Big Blue punted 5 times and have gained just 41 yards of offense. Stoneham (104 yards) hasn’t been much better, punting 4 times and turning the ball over twice on downs.
