Cars, F1, sometimes bikes, often nonsense.
Many Rivers To Cross is one of my favourite songs. Farewell Jimmy, and thanks.

People often don’t believe me when I tell them that even the Sun & the Mail greeted an interview I conducted with Nigel Farage, at his request, by condemning the obvious racism he displayed. I remain amazed that other interviewers still struggle to expose him. I won’t get another chance.
This May 2014 editorial in The Sun about Nigel Farage said is not racist" to worry about the scale of immigration but it is "racist" to smear Romanians to say you wouldn't want to live next door to a Romanian & "you know the difference" [between a German and a Romanian neigbour]

The deliberate destruction of Picturehouse Central - London’s best cinema and social space - by its rapacious landlords (the same guys threatening the Prince Charles) is an ongoing disgrace. So upsetting to witness. This place used to be thronged with people working and chatting and socialising.

Netanyahu’s plan to occupy Gaza is abhorrent and it's increasingly clear that his goal is ethnic cleansing.

The UK can't just sit on its hands. The Prime Minister must stop all arms exports to Israel and sanction Netanyahu and his cabinet.

Sure, the latest Teslas are still pretty good, but surely this kind of thing has to factor into people's buying decisions...
This is a real tweet and Musk really RT'd it.

I don't care if he's saying the right things about Epstein - he's a terrible person.

For people who conflate Hamas with all Palestinians…

Hamas won power in the 2006 election

There have been no elections since

They won with 11% of the votes of the total population

11%

…and yet 100% are paying the price.

As a big fan, I am very sad about Ozzy Osbourne's death. But what's going on in Gaza deserves a lot more attention.
And what does #BBCNews lead with this morning. Izzy Osbornes death. Not 100 aid agencies reporting starvation and war crimes by Isreal in Gaza.

Just ordered a new (electric) car and hoooo, insurance is punchy. So punchy that at least two providers refused to quote me at all. Better get an EV-specific leccy tariff sorted to offset the rise in premium.

It's a mark of what's gone wrong with British politics that it's regarded as some kind of career-ending humiliation when a govt has to make concessions to Members of Parliament.

We'd be much better governed if MPs found their backbones more often, & govts routinely had to respond to their concerns.

I'm can't think of a single manufacturer infotainment system that's preferable to CarPlay. The last four cars I've owned have spent at least 95% of their time on CarPlay. I don't understand why manufacturers insist on doing their own thing. (Android notwithstanding). Have I missed something amazing?
