I assume our highly-paid Antisemitism Envoy has made a public statement denouncing Nazis marching in the streets & assaulting people, including First Nations peoples. I assume she'll demand police take decisive action & they're charged?

Societies can't let oligarchs get this rich. That's the problem. Tax their wealth and their influence on the rest of is diminished. Media would improve as a byproduct of limper oligarchs, and more connected, informed communities would result.
What is your proposed alternative to journalism???
We kept being told that journalism was a bulwark against fascism, a "fourth estate". This is the liberal frame for perceiving the industry's worth. But the reality is the polar opposite: fascism has been allowed to thrive, and could not have done so, without journalism.

While the media drone on about how hard it is for people with most than $3 million in super to lose some of their tax breaks, in reality the vast majority of Australians have less than $200k in super. The median for a 60 year old woman is just $158k, which means half of women have less than that!
