Oh what a delight it would be to see him facing criminal justice proceedings like those faced by his former confrère... I find his views on us provoking Russia utterly bewildering...

He is utterly bewildering in terms of his inanity and partiality. He is also a large part of why I can no longer bear to listen to any BBC news output, along with most of the Today presenters and Laura Kuenssberg. Why wasn't there this much scrutiny of Cameron, Johnson, Sunak etc?

Even here in the UK the so called indigenous inhabitants will have Nordic/Viking, Norman French, Huguenot, Irish roots and so on... we are all just people living under the same sun with the same need for food, rest, shelter and purpose- don't let them divide you into persons and unpersons...

It's quite a bold strategy... the very dregs of the worst of the worst Tories from the Johnson years...

Ugh- you are being 'governed' by the absolute dregs of the bottom of the barrel- no humanity, no integrity, no class...

V expensive artisan-like breads etc and presumably not v good employer (if same mindset as Dyson and Spoons-man?)

It's no wonder the over 60s who still have faith in the BBC news have drifted towards Reform... Labour are far from perfect but compared to Johnson's conservatives (under much less scrutiny for much worse) they at least show some honour

Well maybe pay ratios are an answer to this... (albeit I accept the very worst businesses would likely find ways round this) but huge packages at the top and poverty wages at the bottom can't be right...

I listened this morning- and think I spotted the edit- well done for calling this out and what a great first lecture- thank you 🙏

It’s this “I’m alright Jack” attitude which pisses me off. We ALL live here, we ALL use public services, we should ALL pull together and contribute to make this country better.

Now THAT’S more patriotic than hanging a flag from a lamppost.

Agreed- but what is the enforcement procedure for an ethical code when applied to someone operating outside that ethical framework... he's not an employee so can't be sacked, he's not riven with shame so won't step down as a matter of honour...

'Unfortunately, while you may be able to buy power, it’s impossible to buy a good personality'- another zinger from that piece... How many awful people in positions of wealth facilitated influence does that apply to....🤦‍♀️

Why on earth are they doing a big piece about him... and yes some kind of scandal involving some huge hypocrisy feels inevitable.

Or Борис as some might prefer to call him...
