𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.𝟬𝟰𝟭. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀, 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲. This Monday provided a poignant reminder of a deep conversation I had a long while back which resulted in this sentence being carved into the inner walls of my skull. ❤️

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.𝟬𝟮𝟴. 𝗟𝗔 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁. Don't do orbits much, which is an oddity as they are common fair in aerial work, but there are two that I have enjoyed filming in the last few years with two great pilots. One of them being this one in my backyard at night.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.𝟬𝟮𝟱. 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀. With other shapes in them. Working on a few things early onward during Saturday with some sporadic inspiration and stray thoughts, but I've been focused nicely. Rain appears probable, more so tomorrow.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.𝟬𝟮𝟰. 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲. Everywhere I film from aircraft, I love to document the windsocks on the helipad or tarmac. It started as a way to keep track of conditions throughout the shoots, but became a fun familiar subject.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲! The sand has almost drained out of 2024, and 2025 is cresting just behind the horizon. Dear reader, I wish you a smooth and safe transition into the mid-2020s. Make it better, perhaps a bit stranger, and an worthwhile adventure wherever it takes you. #nye

𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆. One for my friends in the gaming community. Sony released a special edition PS5 to mark the occasion with a retro inspired look, which reminded me of a controller design that never made it to release for the PS3. Photos from E3 2005 when that was a thing. #playstation

𝗪𝗲𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. I was treated to some light-ish SoCal rain when I got home from the last production. That little push dropped all the fall/winter leaves from my trees and subsequently turned the ground vibrant yellow and dappled with river stones popping through, rather shiny after their fresh bath.

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀. Home after a long while, and it's likely a wrap to my production filming year.

As per tradition, adding the new-to-me places from 2024 into the 2020s rock jar with a brief look at 2010s to see where things are at.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 - 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲. A personal piece featuring a lighthouse I've grown rather fond of. An outstanding structure surrounded by tragedy. This is the most expensive lighthouse in the USA built after the deadliest passenger shipwreck of its era. Enjoy. #R3D #cinematography
