We fostered Barold a year ago from mid-November to mid-December. He was an intact male with quite a few injuries. He was blind in one eye. Despite his looks as a mean old tomcat, he loved being held and petted. He ended up in a great forever home. I love this boy!

We fostered Leela for a month a year ago. She had lost an eye and had a lingering upper respiratory infection. She was such an affectionate and playful girl despite her ailments. I spent hours laying on the floor with her. I still miss her, but she got a good home.

Cortado has come a long way in just under two months. Instead of hiding in the corner and hissing, he's now up on the bed and allowing pets. He's still easily startled and may never be a lap cat, but he's comfortable at least.
