this is fucking embarrassing. a shame upon the discipline of engineering. sometimes a brief window of "interruption causes permanent brick" is unavoidable, but you should be aiming for < 10 seconds, not "any image corruption from now until the next update unless user manually dupes the image first."
They KNEW that there was a chance for phones to be bricked because of this if you switched back to the old slot for whatever reason (failed update, corrupt system, etc.) However this was ONLY mentioned on a DEVELOPER PAGE that most people will never see or know about.

Zuckerberg's long-term plan is to have access to users' brain data. Meta has been investing in neuroscience research and has made a breakthrough. They now have the tech to decode brain signals into sentences, which will be paired with one of the extended reality devices.
