just being honest cause I feel weird and i try to be real, but i struggle with this often and it makes me feel worse when im not transparent about my disposition.

I think starting a new game and practicing some creativity I enjoy will brighten my mood.

Humans are quite habitual by nature, so a few weeks of doing that eventually breaks the habit. Also being your own cheerleader and reminding yourself that you are better in the long run for practicing a little bit of discipline in the moment can go a long way. Future you will be proud.

For example, I use to bite nails bad. When I told myself I wanted to stop, the next time I bit my nails I would observe what caused that and focus on being mindful the next time it happens. Eventually, the habit of checking in with yourself over the behavior makes you way more aware of it.

It's pretty different for everyone since we all have different brains. I start small. If I notice I do something that triggers a behavior, I just focus on that discovery. Eventually, I'll notice more triggers because I'm practicing awareness of that behavior.
