Lifelong Vermonter living in the woods of Elmore. I spend most of my days in my stained-glass studio creating art, and my winter afternoons fat biking, or Nordic skiing and my summer afternoons kayaking, or mountain biking. Trying to stay positive!
That will be great for the climate.

In a long chain of willing fools. Greedy, soulless, fools.

The key is compassion for others.

I wish our roads were safer for cycling. I'm an avid cyclist and would certainly consider purchasing an e-bike for short commutes but I pretty much gave up road cycling due to the lack of competent drivers. I spend my time riding in the woods now, which feels much safer than being on Vermont roads.

I agree. I get my fill of daily nightmare news from our community radio station. I am trying to tailor my feed here to avoid that.

If they want to do away with social security, then they should return the money that I paid in plus 40 years of interest!

Have you checked out Glass Eye by Dragonfly Software? It's a drawing program specifically for for stained glass designs. I have been using it for years now and love it for making patterns.

There are probably better uses for 40 million dollars.

I have a hard time seeing trump as a human being.

I'd be happy to work on a design with you.

Greetings fellow CVCR listiner! It's pretty much all I listen to when I'm working in my studio.

Hello neighbor! I live in Elmore, just over the hill. 😀

Love Bike Talk! I get to hear your show on WGDR, WGDH, Central Vermont Community Radio on Saturday mornings. Even though I currently spend most of my time riding in the woods, it does my heart good hearing about all of the bike advocates out there. It gives me hope for humanity.

Not sure going back is the answer, but an abrupt turn is in order for sure. We are certainly on the wrong path.

Looks great! I have a small kiln too, but haven't done much work with paints.

Beautiful! How did you create the feathered effect on the center pieces? Is it engraved on the backside?
