Exactly. In the end he’s not the top of the ticket, Kamala is… and there’s a LOT of bigots who hate everything Kamala is.

This is hard to believe, given that Shapiro has been all but silent compared to other Dem Governors who have loudly and proudly opposed the Trump admin

The man who publicly called for the assassination of Rabin is Israel’s PM today.

The alternative to independence is permanent generational subjugation or outright destruction.

That’s as unrealistic as everything right wing wannabe dictators have sold people

There’s an important difference between citing prevalent opinions that should be changed, and endorsing the destruction of entire ethnic groups.

At least, it’d be nice for all parties if the slaughter of Palestinian children were ended on its own merits.

I mean, imagine how much easier it would be to discuss antisemitism without this hanging over you.

It must be an incredible time to be a neonazi. You can bomb all the synagogues you like, and the media (and the govt) will blame liberal college students.

I hope that people who want to fight antisemitism and win can agree that nonsense like persecuting Ms Rachel doesn’t help.

Hadn’t more Palestinians been killed in the WB from Jan 1 2023 to Oct 6 2023 than in any year since the second intifada?

You have to face it, Israel’s government has been refusing to handle terrorism by Israelis for years now. The end result of that can be seen with Ben-Gvir’s party today.

The fight over whether human rights are for everyone or just a privileged few is the defining issue of the moment, and we can't shy away from it. The future belongs to those who will wholeheartedly defend cosmopolitanism and the open society. Without any irony or shame: diversity is our strength.

Most people drove, took trains, buses or ships. Planes are and were expensive options.

Of course, you can still travel these ways. Prices and experience vary

Now? Yeah I think billionaires making cash by selling our data and feeding our children a constant stream of hate and doubt are bad sure. But it’s not the same.

My CEO making 1000x what I make for my cushy laptop job is not the same as me dying in a factory. It’s just not.
