For all the little chucklefucks who revel in the suffering of the poor, and make ignorant, crude assumptions about what their lives and mindset must be like, I wish that exact same experience on them, not that they would learn anything from it.

I remember waiting with my mom for her food stamps to come in in so that we could finally head to the store and get beans, rice, ramen and maybe some snacks with whatever was left over.

Knowing that the month is going to start with that valuable support gone would be devastating.
