Sleep is the core of resiliency.

Do you snore or have you checked oxygen levels with a pulse oximeter when you sleep? I just did my first night with CPAP and it helped with sleep. A revelation.

I didn't turn a lot. I didn't pee a lot. My oxygen was way better. I should have done it years ago.

Images of Xanadu and Kublai Khan and the sheer poetry is what stuck with me long after, the sheer poetry.

I didn't get what relax was about as I was a bit naive when it came out.

Spoiler alert: There's an English version too which is why I put 2 links. It was written at the height of the cold war.

I'm good at procrastinating. I'm doing it right now. 😂

😆

Agreed, but it was nice to know the meaning decades before Google Translate.

One of those songs that makes me feel nostalgic for adventures I didn't have, imaginations instead.

It feels like the middle of the night college radio. When no one cares about what's in heavy rotation.

In the 80s at UCLA, if there was no one there, you could do a set on the college station. So I went in at like 3 am once or twice.

Sci-fi, because it partners with all the other genres anyway. Even if it wasn't my actual favorite.

Unexpected consequences, the only thing you can count on.

There's a nice layout with the signage and all.

Just not scrolling might count as self-care. 😅

Some scrolling is worse than others. Stalked by algorithms.

I suspect I may be a sieve instead of a cup, because I'm sure there are leaks when I'm sipping life.

That whole album was amazing. I would get so pumped when that song came on in the gym.

We're often stuck in fight or flight. You have to calm the nervous system. It's easy to get in that anxiety cycle, harder to break.

Taking a walk when you feel tired can help, or a nap if it is short and won't mess with your circadian rhythm. I'm trying to get a good rhythm myself.

I have a naming convention that includes dates. Sometimes I share something on dropbox and update that file so it's always the latest.

Rocky Horror Picture Show is the role I'll always remember him for.

I've been meaning to see a midnight showing for decades.
OK, I'm drawing a line in the sand. 2026 is the year it happens, after the next book launch.
