We’ve had an uptick of coyote attacks in our neighborhood so we’re keeping the cats inside after dark. My pal Feta is annoyed by the new policy and was grumpy for a few hours last night.

Photos of the 105/110 interchange always remind me of all the harm caused by car dependency. The 105, the last freeway built in LA, was built after a swath of lower income, primarily Black communities were razed, replaced by infrastructure that remains a blight and a huge source of noise pollution.

I was very very fortunate to spend my day yesterday making content and memories with one of the best human beings in pro cycling.

This definition also aligns with what I thought the word means. But I realize that some people react like the term is implying they are not from the city.

Not that Merriam Webster is the definitive source on this topic/discourse, but this is in line with how I interpret the word.

Little FYI to new outlets amplifying comically absurd claim that Reagan tariff ads are "fake" and deserving retribution.

I see that one MAGA talking point this morning is that it was all old people at the No Kings rally. Anecdotally, I saw more people under 30 marching in DTLA than boomers (not that there’s anything wrong with patriotic old people)

This is how Fox News is trying to frame the administration's failure to get an audience here. It's laughable but I suppose there are minions who shallow this and the rest of the absurd propo. No one even pauses to comtemplate the embarrassment of the president's obsession with juvenile trolling.

Well earned win for Magdeleine Vallieres. I believe she is the first Canadian woman to win a UCI Road world championship.

One lap/15km to go in a very entertaining U23 women's race at the Road World Championships in Rwanda.

This is the intersection. The motorist was driving in the direction shown and the rider coming from the right. We're supposed to believe that a)the rider blew a stop sign and hit the side of the trTuck; b)the driver never saw the collision or the rider; c) PD interviewed anyone other than the driver
