Earlier today, the President announced he would be pardoning Juan Orlando Hernandez, former President of Honduras.

Hernandez was sentenced in June of 2024 for conspiring to distribute more than 400 tons of cocaine, and related weapons offenses. The DOJ alleges he has ties to the Sinaloa Cartel.
