Had fun adding a portal to other levels. Next up: Populate the level with a lot more content and interesting enemies. Always challenging when the dungeons are procedurally generated.

Just finished the mission debriefing screen! After each run, a station manager delivers a randomized (and often sarcastic) one-liner. Even if you explode in 16 seconds like me 😅

When you gotta go, you gotta! Even NPC's have basic needs 🙂 So far this need, together with hunger will have higher priority than just basic guard duty.

I'm impressed. Even after 2 years, only 2 people have managed to complete all 40 levels in my game 'Ladder Larry'! 😄 And the fastest time was 44 minutes.

Working on implementing guards that patrols the entire complex. Visibility indicators will show the player what the guard can see. Still a long way before it can be called a game, but there's progress! 🤠

Could this look like an interesting map to walk through? Your primary mission would be to assassinate a person in the orange room, without being seen by the guards (dots in RED). You would exfiltrate from the cyan room.

Came a little further with my experiment. Have added a simple NPC that just wanders the halls. I also got around to implementing a simple minimap that shows where you've been.
This might turn into a proper #roguelike 😳

I tried to adjust the implementation to a much smoother variant, but have come to the conclusion that I dont like it at all. So I will probably opt for rooms being revealed automatically in the vicinity of the player 😊

Looking into a kind of look-ahead thing, but unsure whether my solution is a good one or not. The idea is that you can peek into a new room without entering it, but once you enter it, the entire room will be visible? Is it working??
