Yup. Missed my juvenile skill acquisition window for 2D/3D platforming and now can’t play a CDPR RPG without falling off a wall and dying in tutorial. This is why I bought my 5 year old Astrobot

I had read Susan Cooper and a great deal of older English children’s lit at that point; went from The Hobbit straight into LoTR which took the summer and was conscious of a great levelling up. After that I read Shakespeare in folio order, then War and Peace which took all the following summer

Fun Q&A too, at one point he mentioned having to redress the set by changing all the colour gels over the halogens and I realized (despite having experienced the 90s) I *had* been thinking of the Cube as LED walls and not getting why the characters were increasingly overheated
