Meanwhile, just hit my arbitrary reading goal for the year. I normally easily read 150+ books (with the caveat that most of my reads are less than 200 pages). So I thought this was a fake goal. But this year I’ve been 30+ books behind for months. Just caught up in October and November.

Well, I couldn’t figure out how to buy a ticket, my phone had no service, and for some reason I was on a car that didn’t let me exit at my stop. The transit agent led me to the “don’t exit the car while train is moving” sign, told me to exit while the train was moving, then laughed at me and left.
