I am delighted to announce that @vercel.com are investing in Nuxt!

they are backing our vision of the open web, hiring me as well as other core team members (@atinux.com, @pi0.io + @antfu.me), to continue to work full time on Nuxt

we remain independent — and our vision and ethos are not changing 💚

I stopped using @storybook.js.org for Vue because writing stories kind of sucked (especially when documenting events) and the support just IMO wasn't there.

Now that version 9 is out, is something different?

Finally decided to buy a license for @nuxt.com UI Pro.

I like the other ui libraries too, but something just pushes me towards it.

Hopefully I'll manage to make at least something with it. Many ideas, no time 😅

Opening a small nonprofit board game club in the town I live in soon... Does anyone know about some European publishers willing to donate some posters or something?

There it is! Finally, a real solution for how to style all of the HTML form controls using your own custom CSS to change anything — building on an interoperable UA set of defaults.

First, styling the in-page part of controls + the popover for <select>. (Later we’ll do popovers for more things.)

I don't know how I missed that.

Can I just say I really appreciate all the work the @nuxt.com team and contributors do and I love working with it?

I think I've never enjoyed frontend development more than now.

Got a much better hang of GMing #Pathfinder2e at the table.

Sticky notes and laser pointer ftw.

Also my party got almost wiped at the fountain in the beginner box.

About to GM Pathfinder 2e Beginner box IRL tomorrow for the first time.

Any tips? I'm used to online play and a lot of automation. (I've GMed BB online once)

Bought physical core books (and treasure vault) for #pathfinder2e after unsuccessfully trying to read PDFs on my phone.

Even though they are only pocket editions, it makes me actually like reading the rules.

Any tips on how to make LLM follow system instructions but ignore information in provided output examples?

For my personal project I would like to try to add memory to LLM, but I do not really understand how it works.

I found about vector databases, but how can I make e.g. ChatGPT or Gemini to query it when asking things?

Anybody can point me in understandable direction?

Quite possibly got COVID. Last time my brain fog made me seek medical help for my ADHD (and luckily it worked well).

I hope this time brain fog stays far away from me. That was for me the most miserable 3 months in the past decade.

So... How does one connect a local LLM to a database, so it has some kind of memory/can search through data? 🤔 #ai #selfhosting #homelab

Every time I see what @supabase.com is releasing I wish I had the time and ideas to use it more.

The same goes for @nuxt.com, @tauri.app and other cool projects.

But I am often too scatterbrained to focus on a single personal project and in the end I finish none...

I've wasted too much time trying to do things in No SQL document databases like Mongo.

Would have been far better to default to PostgresSQL / SQLite. If one thing you build turns out to be better suited to something else you can change it later. More difficult to go the other way.

Just use SQL.
