Seems apt that The Patermine is on its final Legendary event and I found a Patriarch in my bitz box.

Replaced hand holding the helmet with one from the Broodlord but had to swap the other too as they're a bit larger 🤦🏻‍♂️

A little leg greenstuffing required.

I stumbled across a Jakhal Dishonoured on a bitz site so impulse purchased to save me buying a whole box.

Minimal work required, just checking I've used the right components and swapping the skulls and spikes so they matched the in-game model.

I play far too much Tacticus and as a way to kickstart my hobby mojo, I've decided to start recreating the characters from the game in tabletop form.

Already got Gulgortz, Snot, and Snappa on the go and managed to nab this bad boy before he disappeared.

MOAR LOOTAZ! (Oh, and a Spannaboy to lead them)
Ork Spannaboy converted from an Age of Sigmar Orruk Brute. The gun is mostly scratch built from plasticard to look like a kustom megablasta. He is chomping on a fat cigar whilst firing his gun with unbridled enthusiasm. Ork loota converted from an Age of Sigmar Orruk Brute. The deffgun on his right shoulder is cobbled together from many different Ork, Imperial and T'au weapons. A missile has been made to look as if it's just fired with a piece of wire. The Ork's face shows pure joy as, for now, he has "enuff dakka". Ork loota converted from an Age of Sigmar Orruk Brute. The deffgun on his right shoulder is cobbled together from many different Ork, Imperial and T'au weapons. The Ork currently only has one arm as the model is still very much work in progress; he'll get one soon. Plus more dakka.

Two Ork boys converted from the Age of Sigmar Orruk Wrekkaz models. One is armed with a Shoota, the other with a Burna.

Whelp, I did a hobby (the first of 2025)!

The "Biggs Boyz" Ork horde slowly plods on - I present a second Shoota Boy and the first of the Burna Boyz.

Both converted from wrekkaz which I was able to pick up from a bitz site.

Progress on the wreckin' ball arm continues.

Basic form finished; scaled up from the Battlewagon klaw arm. Currently articulated so it can be glued in place once final pose has been decided.

The scratch-built wreckin' ball arm next to the klaw arm from the Battlewagon. The scratch-built arm is about 50% larger. The scratch-built arm laying on my work surface. At one end is the start of some chain made from some plastirod tube. Beneath that is the plastic engine from the ork trukk kit which will form the basis of the wreckin' ball. The scratch-built wreckin' ball arm laying on my workspace surface, disassembled into its three sections; top, middle and bottom, along with the plastirod pins that would allow movement.

Three pieces of plasticard, cut to shape to make an arm for swinging a wrecking ball. Two pieces have a hole drilled one end, the third has holes drilled both ends. The middle section of the arm. The plasticard has been bulked out with square plastirod and some plastirod hollow tube around the arms. The middle section of the arm is finished. The bulked out parts have been covered with more plasticard. The holes at either end have plastirod slid through the holes. This will join the other two sections of arm together and allow it to move.
