Despite, regrettably, being A Bit Of A Tory™, Tom Stoppard is arguably my favourite playwright of them all.
Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead has some of the most affecting and irreverent writing. I'm constantly in awe of it and him.
May he rest in peace.

Rewatched the original Star Wars (A New Hope) today.
Obviously 'I love Star Wars' is baked in, but if you've not watched it in a while you can easily forget that the back half of that movie is some of the most genuinely thrilling stuff on film, back to back.
1977 must not have known what hit it.

I can understand asking for nuance in these discussions, but deliberately muddying the water by bringing up automation tools that people understand are not generative AI and asking for a middle ground is disingenuous. The nuanced position is that people are roundly rejecting the tech, respect that.
"Surely there's a middle ground here?" The CEO of Helldivers 2 studio Arrowhead says people "jump to extreme takes" when debating generative AI, and that there needs to be more nuance in the discussion.
