In physics, we like to talk about standing on the shoulders of giants. Sometimes the giants are in the room with us, and sometimes they even come from round here.

Labor’s Measuring What Matters is a worthy goal – but one that has utterly failed to live up to its promise | Greg Jericho
The wellbeing framework has become little more than a data dump – but at least it highlights how little stock we should put in productivity figures

For many years Open Australia Foundation ran electionleaflets.org.au

It takes time and dedication to run projects.

We want to know: *Should @oaf.org.au continue to put resources into providing this service?*
Unfortunately electionleaflets.org.au is down.

It does sort of still exist in the Trove Pandora archive: webarchive.nla.gov.au/awa/20100723...

But it's clunky.

It's not been active for many many years. So, is this something you lot care about? Or should we just allow to sunset?

Monday Night Bluesky, question for you: Does anyone else remember the trend in mid-2000s cop shows where women's bulletproof vests had scoop necks? Like they had to be kinda sexy?

I swear this happened on Criminal Minds, but I don't know if other shows did it too.
