Rook veroorzaakt door een brand bevat *altijd* giftige stoffen. De concentraties bepalen of de rook al dan niet accuut schadelijk is voor de gezondheid. In het nabijgelegen meetstation in Boom (blauw) was de impact van de brand meetbaar: paar kortdurende fijnstofpiekjes.
