Pennsylvania will soon have the CROWN Act on the books, preventing discrimination based on hair type, texture, or protective style – a huge win for Black Pennsylvanians.

As the first Black Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania, I’m excited to see this go to the Governor for signature.

I know this budget impasse has taken far too long, but this final product is incredibly good -- and signed into law! We have over $750 million more that's going into public education, overwhelming amount of that going to our most at risk school districts...

Delivering for Pennsylvania!
It took time, collaboration, and commitment. but I’m proud that this budget invests in the programs our communities rely on most: strong schools, safe neighborhoods, and affordable housing.
We’re also returning more money to hardworking families.

BREAKING: Pennsylvania is now driving out November SNAP benefits.

After we won in court yesterday, we moved quickly to start getting benefits loaded on EBT cards and out the door — and we're working to get every Pennsylvanian currently waiting for federal food assistance benefits what they're owed.

I’m incredibly proud to join my Allentown friends and colleagues in endorsing Bob Brooks for Congress.

With the tire fire that is Congress right now, I know that Bob can help put out the flames. I’ve seen him in action here at home — so I know he’s up to the task.
