Trump is draping the White House in so much gold its becoming more difficult to know it from the Kremlin.

Support for citizens of Gaza is fine, but supporting Hamas is quite another.
Just saw the video of the Hamas public execution of Palestinians as the terrorist organisation reasserts itself in Gaza.
Trump trumpeting peace in the middle-east is sadly, far from close.

We have some basic house rules, one being whoever uses the last of the toilet roll replaces it with a new roll. With a grandkids sleepover they really push it to the limit. One solitary paper square. 🤷 What can you do with just one square? Seriously! 😳

Despite the crimes of some clergy & their heirarchy, we should never forget there are many good priests who really do care & help.
Fr James has been an enormeous help in Bob's healing process.
Bob's prayer & Fr James' introduction follow.

Protea in our yard has been producing the most stunning flowers for more than a month. Here it is early this morning doing what it does best.

Baranga West Council in SA trapped a cat in a public area & euthanised it in a strategy to protect native wildlife. The council has since compensated the cat's owners.
Should councils implement such schemes to protect native wildlife?

ON THIS DAY – 8th August in 1789 – Australia's first police force was established in the colony of New South Wales. It was made up of a dozen convicts.

Trying to emulate Britain's Trooping of the Colour & France's Bastille Day, Trump ordered his own birthday parade.
His soldiers marched like a subway crowd crush & another held a drone like a child with a toy making his parade the farce he deserved. 🤭

Denis was great man. We met when author @JacktheInsider invited me to speak at his 2012 book launch. We stayed in contact & met in his beloved Mildura where we discussed our stories. If there's a heaven, Denis will be at the gate monitoring who passes. RIP mate. 😢

Chrissie Foster nails it again,
'If the Pope had been serious about protecting children, he would have told, ordered, every bishop & archbishop...to hand over to the police the secret archives on clergy crimes. Instead the Pope blamed the devil ... but the devil cannot be taken to court.'

When you consider Trump's relationship with young girls & Jeffrey Epstein, his wanting hold office in the Catholic Church shouldn't come as a suprise.

Robert, a survivor raped as a child in a Hunter Valley Catholic Church has asked me to share his poem on Pope Francis. I'm sure his sentiments are shared by many. We can only hope the next Pope will take some serious action. @SNAPNetwork @loudfence

Launching his tariff war Trump believed he held all the cards. Xi called his bluff & not surprisingly Trump folded.
Art of the Deal 🤔

Trump's tariffs are not so much about trade, but more about dictatorial power.
As Netanyahu today went begging, Trump announced he expects other world leaders to beg for an audience so they too can bend the knee & pledge fealty.
He really does think this is his Game if Thrones.

Leading up to the fund-raiser to build a George Pell memorial, I almost missed this. Last week senior clergy attributed a miracle in the USA to Pell. Following a person's death 2 miracles are required for an individual to be canonised. Is the Catholic Church planning to proclaim Pell a saint?
March 30, 2025 at 6:45 AM
Catholic Church highlights Pell's High Court victory, but always omits the Royal Commission finding that he covered-up abuse & moved perpetrators.
Any memorial is an insult to survivors & shows that despite its apologies & rhetoric, underneath the church really hasn't changed.

I operated this switchboard at Central & Pyrmont Police Stations in 1978-9. They continued in use well into the 1980s. Looking at my mobile phone, it's spooky. 😬
