Was an awakening when I learned it is equally important to which people are “enforcing” the law as what the laws are. People tend to think it’s applied neutrally when they ideologically agree with the enforcers

This makes me think of a point @jamellebouie.net once said that Trump hires people who seem stereotypically right for the role. Hegseth looks the part for the military, Carson looked the part for Dept of Housing and Urban Dev, Kari Lake was and looks like an anchorwoman so she’s perfect

The data point not included here is that it’s the second lowest approval rating for any transition since they started tracking it. Obama’s was 79%. The lowest was Trump’s in 2016

Uh huh. I am not in media or politics in any way. My democratic friends and I still talk about the debate and how alarmed we are. The I show up here and our concerns are apparently a media conspiracy or we’re liberal traitors for having those conversations.

But since I voted for him in the primary half a year ago I have learned new info that he is experiencing cognitive decline and it’s impairing his ability to do the job and I think we should revisit our choices given this new info
