In the beginning, there was a library conservation lecture series. April 2nd marked the 20th event. A beautiful hand-crafted bone folder made by @shannaleinohandbuilt was selected. My part of the gift was a custom display stand and box.

Here's Fritz Otto folding endsheets. As a Stift (1st year) apprentice I spent days doing this until I could do it in my sleep. They would be trimmed to size with the books and then double-fan adhesive bound or tipped-on as part of a recasing. More from him at www.instagram.com/fritzottobuc...
