I control the movement of heat across various fluid media. I also ride bikes

Not a fan of the phrase “road diet”. I prefer “right-sizing”. That’s a quibble, the important thing is to make transportation infrastructure safer and equitable . Walkable, cycleable, micro mobilityable streets with green spaces and fewer, slower cars aren’t just safer, but they feel and look better

Private schools should receive no public money. Private school tuition should not be tax-deductible

One of the many reasons I don't watch pro sports is the partnership between sports organizations, betting businesses and media. Online sports gambling is particularly problematic with teenagers and it's proliferation is due to the greed and carelessness of this above alliance

I remember reading “The End of Growth” that posited a grim future as easily accessible fossil fuels were depleted. The spectacular pace at which renewable energy technologies continue to evolve will keep the world economy growing but addressing climate change needs to be central

We really don’t drill into motorists that they have no actual rights to the road, but privileges earned and paid for

The only road using classes with inherent road rights are pedestrians, equestrians and cyclists

I remember leading several Mayor’s bike rides when I chaired our municipal cycling advisory committee. City councillors would direct staff to take action on what they saw on the routes we planned

That’s frightening

Our current premier is not a cycling or micro-mobility ally. He attempted to remove a number of well-used bike lanes in Toronto that are key to commuting infrastructure We certainly have activists pushing for change but in the current political climate it’s difficult

None of those options available in my jurisdiction, Waterloo Region (the municipality that oversees regional transportation infrastructure) , Ontario

I hate signalled intersections that won’t recognize me on a bike. Embedded sensors or radar won’t trigger a light change. Or the pedestrian countdown for the cross-traffic zeroes and the signal recycles. When municipal signalling infrastructure fails to recognize me on my bike, I won’t recognize it

LPC could have distanced itself from its corporatist recent history. Could have gotten a lot of headway on that tack
