If I have to cook a turkey for Thanksgiving (I would prefer duck), I’m going to do what I do and put some flavor into it. Boned and slathered with shio koji seasoned w rosemary, thyme, lavender, sage, shallots, garlic. Will grill it Thurs. Flavor. #foodsky 🍽️

Roasted pumpkin seeds w my botifarra spice blend. I was today years old when I first learned you can easily separate the seeds from the goop by putting the clump in a big bowl of water and squeeze/swirl. Seeds float to the top for easy skimming! 🍽️ #foodsky

‘O’ is for Oktoberfest and a fresh batch of Onion Brats cranked out and ready for some fest bier! It’s the ‘first-born’ of all my sausage recipes, was my best-seller, and is my favorite. Just pork, onions, & caraway seeds. Haven’t made it in a while, glad I did today! 🍽️ #foodsky

Caffè corretto but in ice cream form. Coffee ice cream with grappa soaked raisins (and some of the ‘juice’) 😎 Those raisins have been happily soaking for 2 years. Pretty sure the grappa I used was bought on our honeymoon. 🍽️

An excellent summer cheese spread. Goat ricotta, goat feta, whipped with some cream, lemon juice, lavender, thyme, basil, oregano, rosemary, garlic, with honey drizzled on top before serving. Oh and some chilled vouvray. Neither the wine nor cheese lasted long 😎 🍽️
