#Texas' leading rusher ran for only 36 yards tonight against #Georgia in tonight's game. The rest of Texas' runners combined for a minus 13 yards rushing. Not going to win many games that way.

I can't prove it, but I've been told by reliable sources this is the Halloween lawn decoration installed by one of RFK's neighbors. Even if that's not true, it provokes a good chuckle anyway.

How many point guards dunk like Cooper Flagg? (Hint: He shouldn't be playing point guard.)

Texas needs to get more disciplined. Committing 12 penalties for 115 yards, as the Longhorns did against San Jose State today, is going to come back to bite them in #SEC play.

Strong reporting here from ProPublica, which found that three Trump Cabinet members -- at Labor, Transportation and EPA -- call multiple homes their primary residence on mortgages.

That's the same move that led Trump to fire Lisa Cook from her job at the Fed. bit.ly/466yMyI
Trump Is Accusing Foes With Multiple Mortgages of Fraud. Records Show 3 of His Cabinet Members Have Them.
The White House has targeted opponents, including a Fed governor, for having more than one primary residence on their loan papers. ProPublica found that, in one case, a Trump cabinet secretary got two...

The pedophile who committed mortgage fraud by falsely claiming that his 11,000 sq ft condo was 30,000 sq ft is having the DOJ open a probe into Lisa Cook for *checks notes* mortgage fraud.

Believe the winner of tomorrow's Denver-Oklahoma City game will win the #NBA championship.

Nobody's mentioning the quirky fact that both of Dallas' pro basketball teams -- #NBA and #WNBA -- won their respective lotteries this season. What are the odds of that.

In all the brouhaha about the Mavs winning the NBA lottery, it's worth remembering that Dallas' WNBA team also won that league's lottery this year.

Watching the @sixersnba.bsky.social at @ny-knicks.bsky.social tonight reinforces my opinion that the Quentin Grimes trade was actually the worst @dallasmavs.bsky.social trade this year.

Here’s a song about #Signalgate – the flamboyant US security breach – adapted from one of our all-time fave Bee Gees songs, titled “You Were Not Supposed to Message it Through!”

A quick turnaround, but only 5 of us as Alfie (really our best fake Bee Gee) is away 🔥👊💪🙏🎶

Hats off to the marketing genius who conceived the Batman/Bateman gimmick for State Farm. Would love to read an in-depth account (attention @nytimes.com) of how this came together.

I was working for a newspaper in San Diego, Calif., the day George Wallace stood at the entrance of an auditorium at the University of Alabama in a futile attempt to prevent two black prospective students from enrolling.

All the players in tonight's #Mavericks/ Bucks game are wearing brightly colored shoes. It seems more than merely coincidence. Is this any kind of tribute to #Kyrie? Can someone offer a clue/explanation?

Can't recommend the #Netflix 6- episode documentary "Court of Gold" strongly enough. Best sports documentary since "Hoop Dreams." The filmmakers obviously had unfettered access to all the basketball Olympians and they used it superbly.

Anora wins both PGA and DGA, making it an overwhelming favorite to win the top #Oscars award.

Why does the #NBA still have divisions, especially when it no longer appears to affect playoff seedlings? You can argue it makes for more geographically compact schedules, but Minnesota is closer to Memphis and OKC then they are to Denver, the division team that's closest to them.
