The graphic is a short poem called "Travail": I forge in fire and darkness, while my land Still calls me with the voice of my own heart The woods and fields of fair Beleriand - The loom of music, and the hearth of art. My longing wanders, but my flesh is bound In dark and rusty pits to labour long In flowerless hell beneath the wasted ground Bereft of starlight and the Springs of Song. But dare I flee from all my toil and pain By crawling out across the Thirsty Plain? What weapon could I forge to batter down The dungeon-door and win the Iron Crown With hate in my hand - and what would be the cost? Should ever I regain the land I lost?
