Organisers of the Flowers for Beth and Dear Rose campaigns.

We encourage gentle and respectful community support and solidarity for trans people who are pushed into the public eye via litigation.

Solidarity, always.
This is not the first time Mr Cheetham has mentioned media or politics in this case - at one point he asked why the nurses had not shared the policy they gave Wes Streeting with the trust - but it is the strongest statement he has made thus far about the wider commentary around this case.

Mr Cheetham went on to say that the case against the trust was not about the Equality Act but was about the trusts response to Rose and Rose's behaviour.

There followed a wider discussion about how many legal documents one can reasonably expect a witness to comment on.

Amongst what we understand to be an unusually wide array of legal documents for the nurses lawyer to refer to during cross examination of witnesses, it contained a wide array of legal docs including reference to sec 22 of the Equality act 2020.

Two other witnesses are scheduled for today but we expect her submit information about the importance of same sex spaces by the end of Wednesday.

So far, we have not seen evidence that this claim was fact checked, either before the letter of concern was sent or before the nurses approached the media.

During cross examination, the nurses stand by their decision but deny giving Rose's name to The Sun before the anonymity ruling.

The letter signed by 26 staff objecting to Rose being in the changing room said that it was "no secret" that Rose had stopped taking hormones in order to "inseminate" her partner. This letter was written with the assistance of the CLC, who are bringing the case.

None of the nurses heard from Rose that she was trying for a baby with her partner - or had altered her hormone dosage. This was a rumour that spread amongst the staff. No one has said they asked Rose about it yet.

It's also not a bad idea to talk to people in your life who are religious or survivors of SV about how they're feeling. A lot of the media coverage accepts a narrative of clashing demographics and interests that just isn't necessary or needed.

Kindness and nuance at the right time can move the bar

Keep listening to LGBTQ+ groups who are putting out information about this case and then tell newspapers, MPs etc how you feel.

This is case is going to go for 3 weeks at a minimum and we will be doing our best to offer contextual information as it progresses.

This week one of the nurses said there are 8 claimants in an interview.

It looks like there may be a last minute change?

Beth had also been at her job for around 5 months when the Christmas Eve incident happened.

Sandie had been in the same workplace since she became a nurse in 1994.

She'd been there 29 years when she decided to try to enforce her own idea of what NHS policy should be.

Our understanding of this statement is that Sandie Peggie wants Beth to be legally forced to make a statement that she was complicit in harming Sandie for whistleblowing and personally pay her money for hurt feelings.

This is not over for Beth - therefore, it is not over for us.
