I try hard to be environmentally conscious and responsible, but on days like this, in a 100yo house, I’ve got the heater on 24hrs/day, heating blanket, tea, and a pot roast simmering.

Over a month and 4 service appointments later, including two no-shows, it is done. This whole process has gone from something I celebrate to something I just want to finish, but hey, we got there, so yay? It certainly beats DSL. (600/600 on a hardline)

After years of being stuck with DSL (in the middle of the city!) today is the finally the day my home gets fiber. I decided to shamelessly show my appreciation by getting donuts for the installers.

I’ve used Apple Maps exclusively this summer and it is much improved. I think I’m gonna stick with it.
Favorite feature: if you have a watch too, it will show turn by turn directions. Great for mopeds or biking.
