If you have enough Supply (AKA Points) to add in a new unit to your roster, then you simply add said unit to your roster - no requisition required. You just need to not go over your Supply Limit.

I feel that. For me its "Foreign Policy" - I want a world where wars are obsolete and people are punished for attempting genocide... we first need to change things before getting there.

And sometimes I quietly see folks missing the point. But it is what it is. Keep walking along, do what you can.

I could not find it in me to choose one or the other - these two are a pair of twins! Gotta keep them together!

How very dare of you, not all Europe is tea and crumpets!

...It's also 91.44 meters in Meatball Speak but that's beside the point!1!!!

...but what if I want to?
April 27, 2025 at 8:30 PM
Are you telling me I cannot indulge myself on both???
April 27, 2025 at 8:18 PM
I got no clue about fire arms and the like and you're talking sense. I'm feeling mortified about just the thought of the collateral damage alone.

The most you're gonna get outta me is a state of confusion, which may or may not be prompted by me trying to do research into the relevant phenomenon
April 27, 2025 at 6:58 PM
There's a reason why I refrain from looking at the younger folks and automatically judge whatever fad they got going on at the moment! Time absolutely scams us all outta our perceptions on things lmao
April 27, 2025 at 6:48 PM
and I seriously gotta get back to painting my minis and posting them up here!

He is no longer admin over there anymore. Not that I suppose it matters now.

I'm losing my social spoons - so I'm just gonna reply to your DM, and afterwards move on from the whoooole thing.

Netenyahu still needs to be opposed, we still gotta do our part in the collective action...
April 27, 2025 at 5:36 PM
...thats seemingly there between you two (my POV strictly).

If its any consolation I am sure similar scenarios such as this overall situation probably occurred in Ireland during the Troubles. Though maybe I am being optimistic there, hah.

There was certainly no internet during the troubles!

I wish I can say "Ah yes, I have the perfect answer to this!" - but no, the whole thread I put out just now is the best I can do. The guy in question does not support the Genocide, but I can absolutely understand how his stated beliefs can come across.

And then there's the bad blood...
April 27, 2025 at 5:09 PM
Absolutely. I don't blame her for how she feels, sometimes I just...

Wish she could be more pragmatic and remember where she is talking in? (Inb4 I am accused of being centrist, oh goodness...)

and to be clear, my memory of the overall incident is hazy due to my trauma response to it all, so.
April 27, 2025 at 5:02 PM
For my part, I was sad about what happened. Wakened some rough memories for ourselves truthfully.

But, I'm going to keep moving onward, with the means I have.

I hope you'll find a place you feel at home in for what its worth. And I hope you'll give what I've said here some thought.

... specifically to you. There's no one size fits all approach, and you are not going to single-handedly stop the Genocide.

Frame your actions internally as part of a collective action and look at whatever you can do in whatever corner of the world you are in without losing sight of it... /7

Root how you make your opposition in compassion. Not everyone needs to see an article with gruesome images. If its a matter of remaining aware, content warnings and spoiler tags isn't going to magically censor it - and thats just the most relevant example to you I can name on the spot... /6
April 27, 2025 at 4:56 PM
...at best, not stop the genocides - or worse, just be outright counterproductive.

If I have to try and ----boil down the answer for 'what arbitrary """level of opposition""" is acceptable'---- Mine would be "thats the wrong mindset".

You have a toolbox. Not everything is a nail... /5
April 27, 2025 at 4:56 PM
...Some people -could- respond well to articles posted with images of gore and body parts and get motivated to do their part in opposing the genocide. For others, it would just spiral their depression harder, trigger traumas or cause any number of understandibly negative reactions that will - /4

..Mindset the other way. Only difference is she is not the leader of a government. She was radicalized by the genocide. At best, I'd say she is taking it too far purely because it feeds into Netenyahu's framing as well, like it or not.

Beyond that? I cannot give a straightforward answer... /3

..to her views.

I am not a Jew. I am not a Palestinian or an Israeli. I have vague surface inferences in regards to the cultures involved and the feelings tied to those and thats it.

The other former member I mentioned? From my perspective, she was deffo taking the collective punishment- /2
April 27, 2025 at 4:56 PM
So. I am just going to -strictly- speak for myself for this, and ONLY MYSELF.

There was another server member I recall who was... very fullthroated for Hamas. She's gone from the server now, and I just assumed this whole thing was also about her truth be told. My commentary was strictly related- /1
