Don’t bother deleting it - just don’t go on it. I haven’t for about three years. It’s costs Meta money to maintain the storage of my data. Granted it’s only a tiny bit, but it’s still a cost. A little less money in Zuck’s pocket.

The book is an amazing read though left me with an uneasy feeling. I would thoroughly recommend it. The TV series only touches on a few of the incredible feats of endurance, the bravery, insanity, sadness and examples of abject cruelty.

We would arrange the following weekends night out as people fell out of the taxi at 3am. All it took was “bus stop at 7 on Friday” and then whoever could make would be there.

It was excellent entertainment. I think it drifted away from the book much more than series 1 and the French campaign leaves everything open for a series 3.
