We’ve been busy building #community throughout #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

We led a group creating a newsflash for the peer support community across mental health services, and hosted a craft night to celebrate our collective commitment to recovery, socialise and create art.

This #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek the focus is community.The fantastic staff at our Hope Point Dundee service are thankful to LUSH for donating products we'll gift to people we support. It may be the most beautifully scented example of community having a positive impact on mental health.

As a member of Scotland’s Mental Health Partnership, we've written to the First Minister outlining the crucial actions required from today’s Programme for Government to ensure that the mental health of the Scottish people is prioritised.

We were honoured to be invited to @uofgasbs.bsky.social to hear from a group of International Strategic Marketing students who chose Penumbra as their case study. It was invigorating to see our work through a different lens, and the students presented an excellent piece of course work.

Our people are incredible, but don’t just take our word for it. The dedication of our staff has been recognised recently by two of our key partners NHS Tayside and @PoliceScotland Massive congratulations to both teams, and thank you to our partners for nominating this work.

Working with Angus Health and Social Care Partnership we will provide peer support across #Angus for people who have symptoms of neurodevelopment (ND) conditions and are waiting for an assessment.

We are pleased to announce renewed funding for our Angus Justice Wellbeing Service. Working with our friends at Angus Health and Social Care Partnership this service, funded by Angus Alcohol and Drugs Partnership provides support for people experiencing poor mental health & alcohol/substance issues.

We're demanding politicians from all parties lead with compassion and clarity after days of unjustified announcements drastically impacting those with mental health challenges.

We are delighted to share that we have achieved scores of 5 (very good) following a recent Care Inspectorate review of our Western Isles Nova service.
