I've just found a clip of a wild bald eagle being weighed and can't stop laughing XD
Photo shows a bald eagle lying on it's back on some digital scales. The middle of the eagle is tightly wrapped with pink flower patterned cloth to keep it's wings still. The eagle does not look amused.

I have always loved baby quail, and then I noticed their giant feet. I love them even more now! 🪶

Mother crested caracara and her three chicks in a nest in a saguaro. Mom's head is not visible because it is covered by one of this chicks, who is lying on top of it. The other two chicks are lower in the nest, barely visible behind the sticks of the nest.

This morning I spotted 3 baby barn swallows holding tight onto a stick of a small shrub, just above the water. As I'll post later, the parents were feeding them. I assume they were displaced by the overnight storm.

I finally got to see a broad-tailed hummingbird and they're even more beautiful than I had hoped they'd be. 🪶
