Not to mention the amount of companies showing their ugliest faces by providing shitty games that hold the average attention for no more than a day or two before another game steals the attention away. Studios need to cook longer on games. Quality over quantity!

I've heard people recommend something like Easyeffects or similar, but I've yet to find one with an interface that doesn't have 50 text value field or a clunky UI to play with visual faders or something like that. I'm hoping elgato changes their focus in the near future to give Linux some love

I've definitely found a few workarounds with things like my stream deck, but one thing I'm not finding is a microphone processor so that I can clean up the noise when I'm talking to friends. I'm not trying to sound like a podcast, but something I like in Elgato's wave link was using reaper plugins.

I dabbled in Linux about once a year for a long time since 2009 just to see what it's like in it's evolution. I didn't fully commit until about a year ago. Windows 11 was my breaking point and while I miss some of the simplicity that some software offered in Windows, I'm ultimately happy where I am.

I'd love for prices to get fixed, but I think we're just fucked anyway. Especially in the gaming/tech space. Nintendo basically greenlit the industry to charge $80 for games, and Xbox wants to sell their current, NOT NEW, models of Xbox for the same as an ALSO NOT NEW PS5 Pro. I hate this timeline..

It might be more to do with how shallow the content feels. I’m a Sims 2 player because the DLC they released was substantially more content than several Sims 4 packs, combined.
