In April, the DOJ illegally seized $800mm in grants from hundreds of amazing org. EJ accounted for $3mm+ of that. We tried to find a path to survival, but we would’ve had to layoff 2/3 of the staff. We didn’t want to inflict that kind of harm on our friends who committed to this fight.

Seems a little childish to get excited when something comes in a special color. But it’s so pretty.
