About 70% of adults who receive Medicaid benefits are working

They simply don't earn enough money to afford other healthcare

And-of course-Republicans don't want to increase the minimum wage

So maybe it's the 3 million military children on Medicaid that Rep Fallon is calling fat and lazy instead

Tesla earned $2.3 billion in the United States in 2024.

You'd think it paid a lot in taxes, right?

Well it paid precisely $0 in federal income taxes last year.

You want waste and fraud? Look at what some big corporations and the rich are getting away with.

Yesterday, I filed two federal lawsuits against a man in New Jersey. He writes patently false things about me and other librarians. These falsehoods are very dangerous. They make me feel unsafe. They make a lot of librarians feel unsafe.

For the librarians. #Invictus

That "intellectual diversity" and "free speech" were trojan horses for right-wing power-grabs has been obvious from the start and I remain disappointed how many supposedly rational folks took bad-faith actors at their word.
“Intellectual diversity is essentially a fake problem that is used to create cover for ideologically committed, far-right faculty who are not intellectually honest.” Craig Campbell, UT anthropology professor.

Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”
