Painful to say, I think it's worse than that, even if (when) Dodds goes, things are very broken, there's some talented signings but this squad is hugely lacking in the experience, aggression, strength and character to win in L1, and that's down to much deeper strategic problems than just Dodds.

There seem a lot of possible humourous suggestions for what else might be giving you palpitations. I will skip those.. hope you are okay!

Agree. Feels significant that we only look like scoring when we play with the freedom that comes from being about to lose. The way we are set up when we are drawing is not effective.

Yes, what I was trying to say is that the extremely conservative style creates higher likelihood of a "moment of good luck". If you're playing gung-ho and scoring a few (and maybe conceding a few!) the chances of games turning on one moment are much lower.

100%. This system doesn't yield enough goals, and that simply creates the platform for narrow-margin losses and for individual errors, which will happen naturally at this level, to cost us games, rather than be recoverable. It's a well-oiled pleyer-confidence-shredding machine. Not pure bad luck.

Pleased you were able to find at least one other Paisley tie.

The 'somehow' might include spending 25% of game rolling the ball across the back line at 4mph (because that's apparently the law now), even though we have no idea how to turn that play into a meaningful attack.

My concern is that it shouldn't take school lessons in critical thinking for people to spot (within less than 10s of listening to him) that Andrew Tate is a total prong.

Thank you @djwheeler7.bsky.social for so many memorable moments on the pitch, and for being a great ambassador for WWFC. It was always great to see Wycombe's name associated with your advocacy for sustainability in football, you should be proud of everything you have achieved to raise awareness 💙💚

(but simultaneously funny to see all the entitled abuse from fans of "massive" clubs who all seem to think that league position should be awarded on the basis of average home gate, and can't handle that it isn't).

My vague FFP understanding is that lack of matchday revenue would be an issue in Championship but isn't a problem in L1. It is a shame for the local area that people can't be persuaded to attend (and are missing out on some good times and great play).

Delighted to see Taylor back. But if this is the new club strategy to boost attendance figures, I do think they could have tried something like cutting ticket prices first.

Absolutely. Can't remember a standout performance from a single player like tonight. He keeps getting better!

We are not good enough to rest players to save them for "bigger" games. Fine, rest Kone if things are going well at half time, but not starting him looks like a big error (again).

Time for Dan Rice to show some leadership and show his face a bit.

Top defensive performance, every time we had the ball at the top of the pitch they had two or three on us, we needed to give better support to the holding player.

Time for Dan Rice to earn his corn. Has the famous data got a column for "can take corners"?

Maybe. Or maybe more evidence of how useless GDP is as an indicator of a population's financial wellbeing (let alone their actual wellbeing).

We have been very spoiled recently, haven't we? Not too many people making a case for a first team start (and some not seeming to even want to make the case).
