A warm welcome to my attempt to share my joy of commuting on an ebike. I hope to find the like minded. My YouTube channel is Pedaling Past 60. @pedalingpast60. BTW, the 60 is years old. Not how fast I pedal.
It's snowing in Omaha today. My goal for this winter was to a buy a second bike outfitted with studs so that I could have a snow bike on the ready. That hasn't happened. If I switch tires on my only bike –Will studs on dry pavement ruin them prematurely? Would need 26x2.4 and ride them until Spring.

I need a Cargo Bike but a Cargo trailer is in the realistic price point for me. This home pc is going for a car ride. Waiting on Mrs G. and sharing with you of course. Also this retailer put a bike rack in at my request last Spring. It has gone away for the winter. [Cue sad trombone]

I like to keep things here about e–cycling, but I'm relieved to find out Joe is a robot, which totally explains the stage 9 cancer.

Congrats on the pause and beginning of saving Ontarios bike lanes. I look forward to more good news in the future. It's too bad Ford can't see how much money is wasted every day on automobiles. It just doesn't make sense. The world is watching. John from Pedaling Past 60, in Omaha Nebraska.

I cycle past Warren's house daily. Today, I decided to stop and take a picture of Berkshire Hathaway shareholder folks snapping selfies in front of Warren Buffets' house. Well, technically, his hedge. Unfortunately, they cause traffic issues, and the walkers don't feel they have to share the path.

#30daysofbiking Another late night ride home. I love this path along highway 6 (Dodge Street) in Omaha. I did cross paths with a Ne'er-do-well. What was he doing well? Ne'er. Day 29 in the books

It's been a week. Insane 12 and 13 hour days in the theater. Looking back at day 28, late night ride home. It was a good one.

Day 26. #30daysofbiking Today: riding over Omaha's rolling hills to visit my 96 yo Mom, a pharmacy run, pit stop at a park. Can't believe I once climbed these hills with my kids in a trailer. What I love about ebikes is that they flatten hills. The sharrows are worn away on these hilly bike lanes.

Day 25. #30daysofbiking Today's weather was much more palettable. My trip to, and back home were both cloudy and close to 50 degrees. Also, the big Turkeys that hang out in the residential area near my workplace let me get a close enough for a decent photo before moving out of frame.

Day 24. #30daysofbiking Sad day. I cross Saddle Creek Rd twice daily. I waited a few hours for it to recede. What a mess. The hail shredded my landscape and my poor Ginkgo tree got stripped of her leaves a 2nd time (in 3 years) after recovering from root damage from last year's water main project.

Day 23 of #30daysofbiking
On the ride home, I was hoping something might inspire a good photo. The opportunity presented itself in pink and white flower petals. The color had me craving Cap'n Crunch Crunch Berry in Whole milk with a few ice cubes. What? Doesn't everybody put ice in their cereal?

Day 19 of #30daysofbiking drifts of tree bloom petals were everywhere. Too reminiscent of snow.

Day 18 #30daysofbiking Cargo Shorts for 1 day was better than nothing! Day 18 was back to bundling up. At least enjoying springtime beauty was still on display. Tomorrow looks like rain gear. (Cue sad trombone) Had a late, lazy 11pm ride home after opening Jimmy Buffets Escape to Margaritaville

Day 17 #30daysofbiking temps in the 60s while midtown Omaha dodged the severe weather, large hail, and tornadoes. It was a long 12 hour day framed by 2 nice commutes.
