-A loud, sudden sound
THUD! Ah, so that was where Estinien had gone. Lucca smiled fondly as she continued pouring her tea, but then halted in sudden realization. If he was on the roof, then where was their son who was accompanying- Thud! Without a word, Lucca placed the kettle back on the stove, closed her eyes, and released a long, deep, weary sigh.

Not gonna lie, I thought about this for most of my work shift today

The slide ends up pushing against Emet-Selch’s face as he stares deadpan at the viewer. Emet-Selch picks the self-satisfied-looking Exarch up by the hood, turns, and throws him against something with a loud CRASH.

"I grow weary of this," Thancred whispered to the man next to him. "Must I remind thee that 'twas thou who most generously agreed to watch over young master Nino this evening?" Thancred sighed and glanced over to the boy seated at the other side of the table, kicking his legs and looking with wide, curious eyes around the Rising Stones. While, yes, he had agreed to it, this certainly hadn't been his idea—and just how Urianger had managed to persuade the Warrior of Light into allowing the two of them to babysit her child, he would never know. Thancred was silently cursing the 'amiable gesture' that would 'forge deeper bonds betwixt the Scions' when Urianger nudged him in the arm. "Now, what dost thou spy with thy little eye?"

Mods are asleep time for vampire au posting
A collection of digital sketches of Lucca, an Au Ra warrior of light, and Zenos (as a vampire). "You're injured," Estinien said as he turned to the Warrior of Light abruptly, halting their ascent through the Aery. For some reason, she had been hiding it— and very poorly, at that. He reached over to the injured arm to inspect it, but his hand had barely grazed her skin before she stepped deftly out of reach. "I am a competent healer," she replied with a sniff and a lift of her chin, "I will be fine." Estinien stared at her defiant eyes from beneath his helm for a moment, then wordlessly resumed leading their trek. In the end, it mattered not if Lucca liked him—only that Nidhogg was destroyed for good.

-“Let me in”
"Come now, you truly refuse to let me in?" Lucca stood silently with her back against the door, clenching her jaw as she ignored the shiver that slid down her frame at the man's words. "This area of the Shroud chills one to the bone, my friend. I only wish to warm myself by your fire," continued the purring voice from the other side of the wood. Had Lucca had not been trembling with fear, she would be tempted to admire his persistence. "You may stand out there and freeze for all I care, vampire," she finally said, "I will never allow you to enter."

- “Tread lightly.”
It was no more than half a bell into House Borel's Starlight feast when Estinien felt a hand come to rest gently on his thigh. "Tread lightly," he warned in a low rumble. When the hand then began to rub in a small circle, he sighed and looked down to Lucca, who was nonchalantly sipping wine. "Aymeric would be less than pleased if he were to discover us in his broom closet again," he said as his eyes flicked to the man in question, deep in conversation with the former count of House Fortemps. "Then we shall not let him find us," Lucca answered simply, mirth clear in her eyes as she stood up, placed her fine cloth napkin on her chair, and sauntered out of the lively dining room. Estinien blinked a few times and, with far less reluctance than he ought to have shown, followed suit.
