First time meeting my daughter’s foster cat and they got on fine. A few minor scraps but mostly crazy fun games!

We both enjoyed the train journey. Rammed but lots of friendly people wanting to chat to a cat in a basket! Much better than driving.

She loves my daughter but yowls for the two hour car journey in protest at being confined to her cat basket. This time we’re going by train. I have noise cancelling headphones. I pity anyone else in the carriage who doesn’t!

I follow people I’m interested in, not because I want a follow back. I’m more of a reader than writer though do post the occasional cute cat pic.

Glorious sunrise after the storm!

It’s a special feeling when Edna quietly slides into my lap, gently purring and kneading. The purring gradually subsides and she sleeps. I’ve been in constant fight or flight mode for ages, striding through the hills with my dog to unwind. I’m learning to relax.

Given the current state of the world I think a cute cat picture is called for. Edna came from a rescue centre 3 weeks ago and is a joy! #proofofcat
