Went for a double feature today …The Phoenetic Scheme and 28 Days Later. The verdict? Yes, I have amazing taste in movies. The diamond-in-the-rough was definitely 28 Years. I am pretty sure I’ve never cried in a “zombie movie” before. But it’s much more than that.

Went for a double feature today …The Phoenetic Scheme and 28 Days Later. The verdict? Yes, I have amazing taste in movies. The diamond-in-the-rough was definitely 28 Years. I am pretty sure I’ve never cried in a “zombie movie” before. But it’s much more than that.

I'm reading (listening to) The Siren's Call by Chris Hayes. I'm only in chapter two but it's excellent so far. Very thought provoking. I recommend it. Also, I have already learned something that gave me a big clue about Severance, so huge bonus!

I told my Dad that my favorite director — a man who influenced my art, thinking, creativity, humor, and my sanity (by way of TM) — had died. My Dad said he didn't know David Lynch. I mentioned The Elephant Man and my Dad said that movie is deeply a part of him. Indeed. Lynch is a part of us all.

So many needless warnings about The Substance. I found it absolutely delightful by the end! It was cathartic and brave. With this message, why NOT go all the way?! It’s as if it HAD to be that over the top or it wouldn’t convey how brutal we are to ourselves. Brilliant. #movies #cinema #beauty
