I’ve been grieving the loss of our democracy (as we know it) so deeply—it feels like mourning a death.
But democracy is more than just government. It’s a mindset, a way of life.
It’s who we are and what we do when we choose respect, fairness, and collective action. We keep it alive by living it.

If we didn’t believe the US was worth saving we’d simply move on and ignore you. Believe in the you that we believe you can be, not the you they are telling you to be. Being brave doesn’t mean not being afraid, it means standing up to evil and injustice even when you are afraid.
