Loves the 4-6-3 and the serial comma. Writer'ish person. 💙 for Orioles, REM, Dylan, Patti Smith (not necessarily in that order). Teacher of yoga. Feeder of cats. Fiendishly hopeful.
I'm reading Peter Wolf's memoir (outrageously good) and he mentions in passing that John Lee Hooker was a huge Dodgers' fan. More proof that the coolest artists love baseball.

Dance ability = definitely an advantage. But his worn-out shoes and drinking problem could slow him down. And, he may be no match if his opponent is wielding his tambourine as a weapon.

To her credit, Lucy never capitulated to the boys, always standing her ground. Sure, she was a mean girl and wrong a lot of the time, but there was some "girl power" in there (Peppermint Patty had it too) that was inspiration to me when I was a kid.

That chart sort of tracks with the general population's death rate, except for the drop in February for baseball players. Maybe spring training gives them hope! www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes...
QuickStats: Average Daily Number of Deaths, by Month — United States,
In 2017, an average of 7,708 deaths occurred each day. January, February, and December were the months with the highest average daily number of deaths (8,478, 8,351, and 8,344, respectively).
