Lisa Murkowski cuts a last minute deal solely to benefit Alaska, exempting it from some of the more odious parts of the bill to secure her vote and sell out the rest of the US. Yeah this stuff sucks and hurts a lot of people, but I got Alaskans exempted so the hell with you.

If Christian Nationalist parents are allowed to have their kids opt-out of any books that dare mention anyone gay, then all the other parents should be allowed to let their kids opt-out from the Ten Commandments.

Aside from this being the current law until SCOTUS actually rules on birthright citizenship (potentially in Oct), the fact that they ended the ability of federal courts to issue nationwide injunctions of unconstitutional actions is extremely dangerous

It’s time to open the books. An investigation needs to be opened into just how much has been spent on the deportations, the detainments, the unknown Stasi. The hotels, per diems. I want to know how much of taxpayer money has been spent to date. How they’re being paid, how much they’re being paid.
