Milos's pet peeves: people who don't tell him things, people who expect him to do nothing but make the tea/coffee. *glares at Alex*
Alex's pet peeves: people who don't understand perfectly sensible filing systems, anyone with a persistent cough.

Snippet: Lucky
Something Milos isn't feeling now his fingers have turned into long, grey knives instead.

1/ Oh dear. I'm watching The Penthouse, which is wildly hammy and everyone is either murdered, has secret siblings, or unrelated people who look exactly like them. Milos would've accidentally killed someone, Alex would be relentlessly obnoxious but near-unstoppable...

There are rumours about how Alex's previous work partners have died (yes, plural). There is occasionally a rumour that he offed them himself...
There's also the urban rumour about HEL and people disappearing.
Milos remains oblivious to all this, because he's a clueless l'il bean.

No actual magic, so a reference to the magic word instead. Alex didn't know he was going to be stuck with Milos—he thought he'd probably die in the experiment—so he wasn't particularly interested in keeping him unhurt on the way in.

I write using Scrivener on this very laptop I'm writing this on. I've got used to the keyboard so I can type pretty quickly, and it's convenient to prop on my knee on the sofa or in bed. As to when... eheh, not as often as I ought.
*mutters* Brainweasels.

Milos hasn't celebrated his birthday since he was a child. He had no reason to, and it wasn't something they did at the boarding house either. His friend Rick knows it tho, so he gave Milos a (belated) gift during the 2nd book. Good thing he remembered, as Milos totally forgot...

Milos has no idea if he has a fate, and if he does whether he's going along with it or fighting it. He's already had a lot of awful experiences in his short life, so is still being alive changing it?
(Alex still wants to meet the person in charge of fate. Just to talk.)

Milos's current plan looks something like this:
1. Don't get sent back to Research.
2. Don't get sent back to Research for punching Alex (or trying to, anyway).
3. Figure out what this job actually is.
4. Survive the job, whatever it is.
5. DON'T GET SENT BACK TO RESEARCH.

9. I don't really have a sense of humour, so I'm not well-qualified to answer this one.
10. Milos isn't really superstitious (although he is scared of ghosts, despite Alex telling him they're not provable). Alex isn't because his entire upbringing torpedoed that kind of belief.

Alex doesn't really text, but I do have this really old short from back when I wrote stories based on Runaway Tales prompts.
I thought, "you can tell how old it is since Milos flips his phone closed" and then remembered that we now have the Samsung Flip. It's suddenly timely again!

Once Milos gets used to his fingers-to-blades transformation, and his fingers stop bleeding every time it happens, he starts shifting fingers-blades-fingers when he's nervous.
Alex pinches the bridge of his nose when he's frustrated, which he says is usually Milos's fault.

Research took a risk experimenting on Milos with the polymetal. It worked on Simon, a light elf, so they thought it should *probably* work on a dark elf... but it did lethally interesting things to humans and the experiment had only succeeded once (with Simon).

Milos tends to feel very unlucky. He'd like some good luck now please.
Alex doesn't believe in luck or fate. Particularly not in fate. If there is a fate, he wants to get his hands on the person in charge so they can Have Words.

Robin told Milos that he would protect him, that he was safe now... then he handed Milos over to the government for experimentation.
This is one of the few things he appreciates about Alex: he doesn't lie to him (even when it's unbelievable) and he never said he'd protect him.

Milos never really gave it any thought, but he's pretty introverted. He okay with talking to people in small amounts, but he likes to be alone too.
Alex gives every impression of being extroverted, he goes out and picks up women, but once he's got Milos he prefers staying in too.

I'm Pax, a non-binary potato. This month I'll be talking about Radial, since it's decided to come and bite me.
Dokkalfa Milos thought his life couldn't get any worse when he lost his job and his room at a boarding house. Then he got turned into the second (surviving) bioweapon.

There's been quite a few sweet moments so far, because Caeso and Luke are still in the "I can't believe I have you back" phase. I'm enjoying all the moments Luke just stares, smitten and dopily smiling, at Caeso.
No sweet moments in Radial 1 yet, as Milos's life is a mess.

Pain: A tiny spot of body horror as Milos discovers just what the experiment he didn't consent to entails.

Caeso usually tries to make decisions based on morals and logic, partially because half of his job involves dealing with bad people, and partially because when he makes decisions based on emotions they usually go very badly.
